Designer Spotlight: Natasha Gan

I have always been a huge fan of Natasha Gan, she makes some of the most beautiful clothing and uses the most amazing fabrics. I recently asked her a couple of questions regarding her AW12 collection and asked the Natasha Gan team to choose their favourite pieces from the collection... How amazing are the orange pants and cream dress - LOVE!

Be sure to check out their website, www.natashagan.com.au

What inspired you for Autumn/Winter 2012? I was inspired by the wild. The mix and match of prints together and their eccentricity yet commerciality worked so well together.

What fabrics and colours were used and why? Silks as they always feel and drape so well. Acrylic wools as they are so warm but not to heavy, and Ponte as it is such a great fabric to design structure with and looks good on everybody! The colours are vibrant while black colours were strong against our prints.

Who the collection was designed for? It is designed for a strong minded and focused woman who likes to wear clothes that are on trend.
