Introducing...

My dear friend, Laura (LGH) is going to start guest blogging here at the Fashion Patriot. She is a fellow fashion devotee, like myself, and we are excited to bring you some of her insights... First up is her look into where you can buy Australian designers online, as I've noticed at least half our audience is international.

Please enjoy! X

Teresa Palmer collaborates with Ellery and Qantas

Recently Aussie actress, Teresa Palmer collaborated with designer, Kym Ellery and Qantas in a photo shoot set in Sydney International Airport's Qantas First Class Lounge.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look from the shoot, which will be shown as part of this month's inflight entertainment on Qantas flights.

Spotted...

Paris Hilton over the weekend, celebrating a friend's birthday in Las Vegas, wearing sass & bide. The socialite then tweeted "I love the @sass_and_bide dress I wore in Vegas this weekend. I love Australian designers." In the famous words of Miss Hilton herself.... Loves it!

VA-VA-VOOOM!

Gunnedah's own, Miranda Kerr wowed at the CFDA Awards at the Lincoln Centre in New York on Monday night.

She may not be wearing an Australian designer, but The Fashion Patriot is about everything in Australian fashion and Miranda is a huge advocator of the Australian Fashion Industry. Although she is based in the US, she is very much the Aussie girl next-door, maintaining close ties with Australia, by launching her cosmetics line, Kora here as well as being the face of David Jones, one of Australia's largest department store chains.

So besides the fact she is wearing Michael Kors (who is not Australian, however still fabulous), she is doing an incredible job representing Australia in fashion industries internationally... and just look at her body in this dress, it is ridiculous! She gave birth to her first child, Flynn a mere 5 months ago!
