Who wore it better?

I am SO excited that this is happening right now! We played who wore it better once before... but this time these celebs wore the same Collette Dinnigan dress within 2 weeks of each other!

I am a huuuuge fan of this dress, it is so feminine and whimsical, but it's time to get down to business.

Who wore it better?

Rachel McAdams looked stunning in this black and blush number in Germany while promoting her new film, The Vow.

But then... Usually my least favourite on the red carpet, Nicole Kidman wore this same dress at the 2012 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards last night in West Hollywood. Like I said, I usually give her my most underwhelming award, but I love this dress, and I love the fact she's bothered to use a little fake tan.

I still need help deciding though... Who wore it better?!

Mum-of-two, Jessica Alba stopped by the Grove to have a chat to Mario Lopez about her family and her new eco-friendly company, Honest.

The always beautiful Honey star looked chic in a green blazer by Lisa Ho.

Like I said before, Alba rarely gets it wrong, whether she's running errands or on the red carpet she always looks so well put together and gorgeous.

Rachel McAdams has been quite the globetrotter recently, promoting her new film, The Vow with her co-star (and hunk) Channing Tatum.

At a photo call in Germany The Notebook star looked stunning in a lace and tulle dress by Collette Dinnigan. Paired with a pair of great black pumps and her fun and girly personality, this look is total perfection on McAdams.

Laguna Beach star, Kristin Cavallari just announced she and fiance, Jay Cutler are expecting their first child... You definitely wouldn't have guessed when she attended the opening night of Cirque du Soleil's "OVO" in Santa Monica at the weekend. The mum-to-be rocked a sequin Rachel Gilbert dress.

I think she looks great... Mind you, I would have preferred her to have her hair tied up.

Vanessa Lachey was spotted at  SiriusXM studios in New York City to promote her new hosting gig for “Wipeout" wearing a Camilla And Marc dress.

She looks terrific... The silhouette is perfect on her!

Aussie star, Teresa Palmer kept is simple in a LBD by Dion Lee at the Sundance premiere of her latest flick, Wish You Were Here.

I adore Dion Lee's creations, they're so simple, well constructed pieces with the right amount of edge. Palmer looks great, but it is the premiere of her film at Sundance, so I think a bit of bling would have made this look the right amount of dressy for this event.

Oroton AW12

I am seriously crushing on Oroton at the moment purely because they are showing so much innovation in the way they market their products. As a marketing student I always appreciate exciting and clever campaigns. I was so amazed by their campaign shot by Tommy Ton and now I am in love with their AW12 campaign featuring two of Australia's hottest models, Samantha Harris and Elyse Taylor.

The shots are so simple, elegant and sexy... I'm obsessed!

High School Muscial alum, Vanessa Hudgens is currently Down Under promoting her new film, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. She was spotted leaving the 2Day FM studios in a blue, backless Bec & Bridge dress.

I love this look on her... It's youthful and playful and just perfect for her. She is generally a bit of a mess, but this is definitely a winner

Moulin Rouge star, Nicole Kidman was out and about with Clive Owens promoting their TV movie, Hemingway and Gellhorn. The Aussie actress donned a gorgeous navy lace dress by Collette Dinnigan. I am really loving this on Kidman, she usually is seen in blush tones, which I think totally washes her out. I am obsessed with navy and love it on red-heads!

One problem I have with this look is her lack of shoes... What is the deal there?!

Mia Wasikowska the new face of Miu Miu

Australian actress, Mia Wasikowska, best known for her portrayal of Alice in Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, will be replacing 14-year old Hailee Steinfield as the face of Miu Miu.
How exciting!! Mia always owns her looks on the red carpet and I am dyiiiiiiiing over these sneak peaks of the campaign that have just been released.

Actor, Katherine Heigl falls for Australian designers

I stumbled across this article in Sydney Confidential over the weekend... It talks about Grey's Anatomy alum, Katherine Heigland her recent discovery and love of Australian designers, Collette Dinnigan and Alex Perry.

I love it when I discover a new designer, so I know how she feels. But I especially love it when international stars show their love for Australian designers... because the Aussies definitely have something different and exciting to offer, that you can't often find anywhere else.

"ROM-COM queen Katherine Heigl has fallen in love with Australian designers Collette Dinnigan and Alex Perry.

The 27 Dresses star was so impressed with the locally designed threads she wore during a shoot for InStyle magazine that she asked to keep a piece as a memento.

The gorgeous, lilac Perry number she wore when she posed for the cover was the piece that caught the 33-year-old's eye.

She planned to wear her new frock to an event that evening."

Pint-size singer, Kristin Chenoweth attended the Disney ABC Television Group’s “TCA Winter Press Tour”in Pasadena, California and wore a white Bec & Bridge dress.

I don't think you can ever go wrong with white, I am obsessed with white and this dress is no exception! Mind you I would have liked to see a little more colour, maybe a red lip to emphasise the red shoe... or even just red nail polish, I reckon that would really take the look to the next level and make it look more put together.

Happy (belated) New Year!

To all my loyal followers,

Apologies for my lack of postings recently... I spent the new year in Bali. It was my first time visiting, and I seriously had the most amazing time. It's surprisingly green, very clean and the people are so lovely and kind... Most importantly, there was great shopping, which I was definitely not expecting! I discovered so many fun designers (I'm going to do a shopping post soon, as I have done A LOT of sale shopping recently and found so many great pieces that I can't wait to share!)

I hope you all had a magical new year, and wish that 2012 brings you all loads of love, happiness, laughter... and ofcourse great fashion!

I will soon be posting some of my favourite looks from AW 2012 collections from Aussie designers, so make sure you keep visiting.

Lots of love,

Samira
